Card Payment Surcharges

Flexischools charges a card surcharge to customers who choose to pay or top up their account using Visa, PayPal and Mastercard. You can top-up surcharge-free using EFT. 

Flexischools charges a card surcharge to customers who choose to pay or top up their account using Visa, PayPal and Mastercard.

This surcharge reflects the fees we are charged to accept Visa, PayPal and Mastercard, and is only charged to those customers who choose to use these payment types.

We review these surcharges regularly to make sure they are accurate.

Current card surcharges for all card types are listed in our product disclosure statement.

 

Surcharge-free option

Flexischools offers a surcharge-free option for account top-ups, using EFT.

ApplePay - displayed surcharge

When using ApplePay, please note that the surcharge displayed in your Flexischools app at checkout will be the highest surcharge that may be payable.

When using ApplePay, the card type is not confirmed until the payment is finalised, so when we calculate your surcharge at checkout, we do not know if you are using a Mastercard or Visa to be able to accurately reflect the surcharge payable.

The final surcharge you have paid will always be visible to you in your transaction history in Flexischools. Click here to learn how to access your transaction history in the Flexischools app.
