Printer Setup and Compatibility (TSC Label Printers)
To set up your TSC label printer, please follow the guide below based on the computer you are using:
Windows
Mac (MacOS)
Before You Start – Compatibility Check
Please ensure your device is compatible with TSC printer drivers:
Windows (Recommended)
- Most Windows computers are supported
- Your device must have an Intel or AMD processor
Not supported with TSC label printers: ARM-based processors (e.g. Snapdragon)
How to check:
- Go to Settings
- Select About (or About your device)
- Check the Processor field
If it shows Snapdragon or another ARM processor, the TSC printer will not work on that device.
Mac (MacOS)
- Supported using TSC Mac drivers
- Follow the Mac setup guide above
Chromebook / ChromeOS
There has been an update to ChromeOS where drivers are increasingly integrated into the operating system.In some cases, the printer may work without installing drivers by:
- Plugging in the printer
- Adding it via Chromebook printer settings
However, this is not guaranteed on all devices.
Not Supported Devices
The following are not compatible with TSC printers:
- Tablets (iPad, Android tablets)
- Mobile phones (iOS / Android)
