Add product images and a size guide

Upload photos, choose the cover, and attach a PDF or image such as a size chart

Photos help families recognise your items, and a size guide cuts down on wrong-size orders. Both are optional.

Before you start

  • You need the Shop Manager role.
  • Photos can be JPEG or PNG, up to 10 MB each. You don't need to resize or crop them. The Shop creates the sizes it needs.
  • Bundles don't have photos or an attachment of their own.

Add photos

  1. Open a product (or start a new one) from Products.
  2. In Media (optional), select Add images and choose up to six photos. You can pick several at once.
  3. Each new photo appears as a tile. Photos you've saved before show Processing… briefly while the Shop prepares them.
  4. To change the order, drag a tile to a new position. The first photo is marked Cover.
  5. To remove a photo, hover over it (or tap it on a phone) and select the cross.
  6. Save the product with Save Draft, Publish or Save changes.

A counter under the tiles shows how many you've added, for example 3/6 images. Once you reach six, the add button disappears until you remove one.

Attach a size guide or spec sheet

  1. In Details, find the Attachment field.
  2. Select the field. A list opens with Add new file and, if you've uploaded files before, Existing uploads.
  3. To upload, select Add new file and choose a PDF, JPEG or PNG up to 10 MB.
  4. To reuse a file from another product, choose it under Existing uploads.
  5. Save the product.

To replace the file, open the field again and choose another. To remove it, select the x beside the file name.

Families see a Product info link under the product description in the app. It opens your file so they can check sizing before choosing.

Good to know

  • A product can have one attachment. Call the file whatever helps families, such as "Polo size chart".
  • If a photo can't be processed, its tile says Failed to process. Remove it and upload it again.
  • If some photos fail when you save changes to an existing product, the rest of your changes still save and a message names the files that failed.
  • Archived products are read-only. Restore the product to draft to change its photos.
  • Duplicating a product copies its photos and uses the same attachment file. Removing the attachment from the copy doesn't affect the original. See Duplicate a product.

Troubleshooting

My product won't save after I added a photo. Check each photo is a JPEG or PNG and under 10 MB. Remove any other file type and try again.

The Attachment field says the file is too large. Attachments must be 10 MB or less. Compress the PDF or export the image at a smaller size.
