Store Portal roles and access

What a Shop Manager and a Fulfilment Manager can and can't do

The Store Portal has two shop roles. Which one you have decides what you can change.

The two roles

  • Shop Manager runs the shop: products, collections, add-ons, stock, orders, and the ordering settings.
  • Fulfilment Manager runs the day-to-day packing and handover of orders. This role can't manage the catalogue or stock.

Why a menu item is missing

Online ordering and Shop settings only appear for Shop Managers. If you have the Fulfilment Manager role, they are hidden. If you open their addresses directly, you're sent back to Store Front.

Your role applies to one shop

A role is given for a specific shop. If you work across more than one shop, you only have the access you were given for each one. If you open a shop you don't have a role for, you're taken to a page to choose one of your own shops.

If you can't make a change

When you try something your role doesn't allow, it won't go through, even if you can see the screen. Ask a Shop Manager at your shop to make the change, or ask your Flexischools contact to review your role.

Good to know

  • Roles don't affect what families see, only what staff can do.
  • For other terms used in the Shop, see the Shop glossary.
